 A thoughtfully curated saree brand founded by a husband-and-wife duo, both IT professionals, born, brought up, and settled in the vibrant city of Mumbai, India.

Coming from the world of Information Technology, where precision, attention to detail, and quality are integral to our professional lives, we wanted to bring these same values into something close to our hearts — the elegance and heritage of Indian sarees.

Our Journey — Beyond Catalogs, Closer to Craftsmanship

SWANSH Sarees was born from a simple belief: A beautiful saree should be personally experienced before it is offered to someone else.

Unlike businesses that rely solely on bulk purchases from wholesalers or ready-made social media catalogs, we chose a more personal and hands-on approach.

We traveled across Maharashtra and different parts of South India, visiting saree manufacturers, understanding their collections, exploring fabrics, and learning about the craftsmanship behind their creations.

Many of the manufacturers we visited come with a rich legacy of over 40 years in the saree industry, carrying forward decades of experience, textile knowledge, and traditional expertise.

Our sourcing journey is not simply about purchasing sarees. It is about understanding where they come from, appreciating the experience behind their making, and selecting pieces that meet our expectations.
